Objective

Automate goal setting and employee performance appraisal processes using SAP SuccessFactors


 

Technology

SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goal Management modules and SAP ERP Human Capital Management were used for project execution.

Solution

In earlier times, enterprises used different tools to set goals and appraise employee performance. The goal setting and performance appraisal process at the enterprises took place in different ways. Basically, the information was entered in Excel spreadsheets and forms, printed out, agreed with managers and stored separately at each enterprise. SAP SuccessFactors was used to standardize and automate an employee performance management process.

Among other advantages, the project helped achieve the following results:

  • It takes 52% less time for employees for the goal setting and annual performance appraisal process

  • Goal setting, performance calculation, and bonus accrual processes are all automated
