Product Manager (AI&Computer Vision)
The Metinvest Digital R&D Team is looking for a Product Manager (AI & Computer Vision) to lead the development of our Computer Vision direction and our flagship product — SPAIS.
SPAIS (Smart Protection AI System) is a Computer Vision-based platform that automatically analyzes video streams to improve safety, detect risks, and boost operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone who can combine deep technical understanding with business-oriented thinking — creating solutions that bring measurable value to clients in industrial automation, occupational safety, production security, and public space monitoring — both in Ukraine and international markets.

❚ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Define and drive the product strategy for SPAIS — a CV-based platform for video analytics, risk monitoring, and safety enhancement;
• Manage the full product lifecycle: from ideation and PoC to scaling, commercialization, and global expansion;
• Initiate new directions in CV: object detection, event recognition, PPE monitoring, behavioral analytics, public space monitoring;
• Deliver measurable business outcomes: customer base growth, product ROI, expansion to EU and MENA markets;
• Coordinate a cross-functional team (AI/ML Engineers, CV Developers, Backend, Frontend, DevOps);
• Analyze customer needs, design product solutions, and demonstrate business value;
• Oversee infrastructure stability and cost optimization (Azure, GPU, services, licenses);
• Participate in pre-sales activities, prepare presentations and technical-commercial proposals.

❚ YOU ARE A PERFECT FIT IF YOU HAVE:
• 3+ years of experience in product management or leading R&D / AI teams;
• Hands-on understanding of CV: model architectures, MLOps, accuracy evaluation;
• Experience working with Azure / AWS / GCP and CI/CD pipelines;
• Familiarity with adjacent areas: LLMs, IDP, Automation;
• Solid knowledge of Agile / Kanban, ability to navigate R&D uncertainty;
• Analytical mindset, result orientation, and a systems-thinking approach to product development;
• English level — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
