The first private steel and mining University established in Ukraine "Metinvest Polytechnic"

Metinvest established the first high-tech private steel and mining university ‘Metinvest Polytechnic’.

Metinvest Polytechnic will be an important innovative and international education center for young people who want to get an education in engineering and technical areas of activity. Also, employees of Metinvest Group will have the opportunity to improve their qualifications at the university.

The university has already received licenses from the Ministry of Education and Science  for such technical specialties as "Metallurgy", "Metal science", "Computer Science", "Economics", "Health and safety" and "Mining".

Educational programs are based into account modern business requirements, international best practices and digital technologies. 

Metinvest Polytechnic is an innovative project, one of the advantages of which is the creation of a modern laboratory base. This is evidenced by cooperation with leading manufacturers of technology and equipment, including international corporations Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell Ukraine and Festo.  

The academic building and campus will be built using the most modern technologies from Metinvest steel, according to the design project of the Japanese architect Hiroki Matsuura. With the construction of a new university in Mariupol, the city garden will be refurbished, in which the building of a modern digital university will be located.
