Ukrtelecom and Metinvest Digital introduce cloud services for Ukrtelecom users
As part of strategic partnership, Ukrtelecom placed a contract with Metinvest Digital to design, configure and support Microsoft Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 hybrid infrastructure for the largest Ukrainian fixed network operator.
Ukrtelecom implements Windows Virtual Desktop infrastructure for 1,500 jobs, a system for long-term storage of corporate data backups in Azure Backup. Metinvest Digital will provide architecture planning, migrate user data, and further support the implemented systems.
Metinvest Digital is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. The company’s infrastructure center of expertise has extensive experience in developing cloud solutions architecture, implementing and supporting a wide range of infrastructure technologies, and data migration, which ensure the quality, efficiency and reliability of customers' IT systems. Last year Metinvest Digital migrated to the cloud and implemented cloud IT services for all Metinvest assets in Europe and the USA. Recently, Metinvest Digital has completed the large-scale migration of its two central data centers to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
